Dr. José F. Lázaro was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He attended Temple University and Sacred Heart University for his undergraduate studies and received his doctorate degree as an honor student at University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus.

Dr. Lázaro has been active in private practice and academia for over 23 years. He has also served as chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Training Program of the University of Puerto Rico, School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Lázaro practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with emphasis in implants and bone grafting. Dr. Lazaro is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr. Lázaro maintains an active involvement with the dental community by providing education and lecture to local international peers.
