“Growing up I was always impressed with people who would say that their work is their play. Little did I know that I too would be able to say the same thing about what I do today. Indeed, my work is my play in addition to my avocations and my family commitments. As both a clinician and educator, I have great passion for what I do and feel truly blessed to be able to provide both clinical expertise and state of the art technology to help improve my patients’ quality of life. My professional niche involves surgical implant reconstruction including innovative hard and soft tissue grafting techniques and the use of high technology. I am unconditionally committed to providing compassionate, empathetic and knowledgeable care to treat patients as I would my own family."

“I chose a career in healthcare, specifically oral and maxillofacial surgery, because it involves a challenging combination of medicine, surgery and artistic vision. In addition, it gives me the ability to help patients gain freedom from painful dental conditions and improve the appearance and function of their smiles. To do this, I’ve made sure that I have the educational background and up-to-date training to give my patients the best care possible. This includes residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. I also complete many hours of continuing education each year and maintain membership in many professional organizations.
“I believe the best care means treating patients with empathy and compassion. I like to spend time with my patients, answering their questions and thoroughly explaining any recommended treatment. I find that educating my patients can help alleviate any fears they may have, plus it makes for better overall treatment.”

“I knew at a young age that I wanted to be able to help people when I grew up. My mother was a nurse and my uncle was a pediatrician, and I really liked hearing about their jobs and how rewarding they seemed. I went on to earn my dental degree from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. I decided to specialize in oral and maxillofacial surgery because the field is exciting and demanding and allows me to help patients achieve optimum dental health. Whether it’s wisdom teeth removal, periodontal plastic surgery or dental implant surgery, my patients can feel confident that I offer today’s most innovative treatment methods.
“I always keep in mind that oral and maxillofacial surgery is usually new to my patients. So I always take the time to explain everything in a way they can understand. I have a great deal of patience and understanding, and my patients appreciate my focused, informative, and unhurried approach to their care.”

“When I was in college, I had the opportunity to work in a dental office, and I found the experience to be nothing short of fascinating. Just prior to attending dental school, I was able to participate in reconstructive cases with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, and I knew that working in this dental subspecialty was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.”
